Step 1: Prerequisites

  1. A WordPress website with administrator access
  2. A Replicat account with at least one trained chatbot
  3. Your chatbot should be tested and performing well
  4. WordPress version 4.7 or higher

Step 2: Install the Plugin

You have two options to install the Replicat WordPress plugin:

  1. Automatic Installation (Recommended)
  2. Install directly from the WordPress plugin directory:

    1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard
    2. Navigate to Plugins → Add New
    3. Search for "Replicat AI Support"
    4. Click "Install Now" then "Activate"

  3. Manual Installation
  4. If you prefer manual installation:

    1. Download the plugin here
    2. Go to WordPress Dashboard → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
    3. Choose the downloaded zip file and click "Install Now"
    4. After installation, click "Activate"

Step 3: Configure the Plugin

  1. Access Plugin Settings
  2. Navigate to Settings → Replicat Options in your WordPress dashboard.

  3. Enter Your Widget ID
  4. Copy your Widget ID from the Replicat dashboard and paste it into the plugin settings.

  5. Save Changes
  6. Click "Save Changes" to apply your configuration.

Testing Your Integration

  1. Visit your WordPress website
  2. Look for the chat widget in the bottom corner
  3. Try sending a test message
  4. Verify that your chatbot responds correctly

⚠️ Note: If you don't see the chat widget, try clearing your browser cache or opening your site in an incognito window.

Troubleshooting

Widget not appearing: Ensure your Widget ID is entered correctly and the plugin is activated.

Styling issues: If the widget appears incorrectly, try switching to a default WordPress theme to check if it's a theme conflict.

Performance issues: If you notice any performance impacts, ensure you're not running too many other chat or support plugins simultaneously.
